The armed forces of Thailand and the United States on Tuesday kicked off this year’s Cobra Gold military exercise at U-Tapao International Airport in Rayong province.

Royal Thai Army Commander-in-Chief General Narongpan Jitkaewthae is in China this week at the invitation of China’s Defence Ministry to discuss military cooperation between the two countries with the aim of enhancing peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
